Robert "Bob" Phillip Stipa, 86, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. Born on November 29, 1939 in Philadelphia, he was husband to Larysa, loving father to Christine and Bobby, and stepfather to Nick. Funeral services will be held privately.
Bob served in the Army, and was a hard worker. He spent decades working for State Stores in Philadelphia, where he was known for his dependability.
Bob had a good sense of humor and liked to joke around. He loved the Eagles and the Phillies. He was a musician who could often be found casually strumming his guitar. He loved many types of music, but especially Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash, and Jimmie Rodgers.
When previously asked how he'd like to be remembered, he said: "He was a swell guy." We find comfort in knowing that he lived a long and productive life. He will always be remembered as the unique, humorous and entertaining person he was. "Life is Good."
He is survived by his wife, children, stepson, and several half siblings, as well as friends and extended family members who will miss him very much.
It was Bob's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to The Salvation Army, 1865 Harrison Avenue, Camden, NJ 08105 www.give.salvationarmyusa.org/ Arr. by BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, Cherry Hill, NJ.
